CraftSpiration Post - Oracal 651 cookie jar

Making any smooth surface more personalized is easy with Oracal 651. For this project I started with this blank glass cookie jar from Amazon. I created these cut files (come back soon for a downloadable file!) in silhouette studio and used Oracal 651 in mint, soft pink and metallic silver, (found in the Oracal 651 Fashion Pack) but any colors will do! I cut each color one at a time and I re-sized the images making them smaller and smaller with each color that I cut just to add some variety within the design.

Then I cut and weeded all the snack images

And cut and applied a piece of transfer tape to each vinyl piece. I used Oracal transfer tape and re-used most pieces I cut.

Then I applied each graphic to the jar. The vinyl was easy to apply when I used the Oracal transfer tape because I could see through it and it was easy to apply to the exact space on the jar where I wanted it.

Make sure to apply pressure with your squeegee to make the vinyl stick, especially if the surface is curved like it is here on my cookie jar!

Peel off your transfer tape and repeat with the rest of your vinyl until the entire jar is covered. Enjoy!
